VULCAIN

Founded in 1998, Vulcain initially focused on the energy sector before gradually developing its skills in numerous other fields. Today, Vulcain is a recognized specialist in energy, the environment, the process industry (including pharmaceuticals) and major infrastructure. The Group now employs 1,600 people across around 30 countries and generates more than €150 million in revenues. Having set up a first OBO with the founding CEO, Initiative & Finance turned in 2015 to a BIMBO along with NiXEN Partners, enabling Alban Guilloteau and Frédéric Grard to take operational control of the Group. To complement the Group's organic development, 9 add-on acquisitions were completed between 2016 and 2019, to reinforce its specialties or its geographical coverage. In 2019, the Group's management and shareholders decided to move on to a new phase by welcoming Equistone Partners Europe as a new majority shareholder.
