NORD COFFRAGE

Founded in 2000 and based in Saultain, in France's Nord region, Nord Coffrage specializes in the rental and sale of construction site equipment (formwork, shoring, safety equipment, specific equipment).

Thanks to its know-how in renovation, its high-quality fleet, its technical expertise and its great responsiveness, Nord Coffrage managed to position itself as a preferred partner of major construction players such as Bouygues, Vinci, Eiffage and Fayat, as well as SMEs from the sector, who have gradually outsourced the management of their formwork and shoring, which is cumbersome and costly to maintain. It now manages the largest fleet in France (35,000 m² of formwork) and is able to contribute to major construction projects such as the Grand Paris project and the 2024 Olympics.

Since its takeover in 2019 by Initiative & Finance and Turenne Groupe alongside Philippe Asselin, its CEO, the Nord Coffrage group has carried out two external growth operations. After the acquisition, in 2019, of Gradel, a specialist in wooden and custom formwork, Nord Coffrage integrated, in January 2021, its competitor Rentmat BTP and thus solidified its position on the equipment rental market for the main construction players. On this occasion, the Group strengthened its management by appointing Yann Vuillaumier, the founder of Rentmat, as Managing Director of the new company. The Group now employs around 200 people on 6 sites and generates a turnover of nearly €45m.
