BEST ENVIRONNEMENT

Having specialized for more than 20 years in the distribution of protective equipment for asbestos removal activities (respiratory protection, suits, containment), BEST covers the whole of France and has annual revenues of around €20 million. It also manufactures its own range of products, as well as offering additional equipment maintenance, repair and hire services. We carried out this MBI alongside Philippe Lebon, the former CEO of Lebon Protection Industrielle, whose experience made him a particularly suitable replacement for BEST's retiring CEO. After several years of strong growth, driven by a buoyant market and dynamic commercial performance, the company was sold in an MBO to the Weinberg Capital Partners fund, which performed a further operation with Philippe Lebon and a few key executives.
