AKTID

Set up in 2005 by Pierre-André Payerne, CEO, Aktid is active mainly in France and in Switzerland. It designs sorting lines that can handle several types of solid waste (household, industrial and construction) for private operators and local communities.

Aktid covers the whole value chain of sorting center creation: R&D/ conception, core process equipment supply, lines connection, transport and assembly, civil engineering services, commissioning, and additional services such as critical equipment design (production outsourced), digital tools development for performance monitoring, and maintenance. However, it does not operate it, and installation is fully subcontracted: Aktid is acting as prime contractor.

As of December 2022, the group had 89 employees working in Chambery and generated c.€40m sales. Based on its performances (100% of their plants reached expectations), Aktid expects to quickly exceed €100m of turnover.

In the coming years, the group intends to develop in new European territories close to France and continues organic growth through the development of digital services and new verticals as well as maintenance of its existing installed base.
