Biography
Caroline Pihan joined Initiative & Finance in November 2020.
Caroline previously spent 15 years at Ardian (formerly AXA Private Equity) in the “Expansion” Midcap team, where she was Director to carry out LBO and growth expansion operations in continental Europe (mainly France, Germany and Italy). As she joined the Ardian Expansion team a few years only after its creation, she was quickly involved in a large number of operational duties and investment cases. She is thus accustomed to working in a ramp-up environment for a deal team.
She worked closely with Baudouin d’Hérouville for 12 years and they therefore studied, completed and monitored several transactions together.
Prior to becoming a private equity analyst, Caroline had an experience in funds financial control (middle office side). Thus, she has a very extensive comprehension of GP functioning through both front and middle office perspectives.
She has a generalist profile, but is particularly familiar with Healthcare, Consumer, Food and Building sectors.
Caroline holds an MBA from Audencia Business School (Nantes).
