Carnet – Appointments and Promotions
To support its growth, Initiative & Finance is strengthening its teams with the recruitment of 3 collaborators:
Clémence Megarbane and Marine Ferchaud have joined the Midcap “Tomorrow” team as Principal and ESG Analyst respectively. In addition, Clothilde de Maupeou is now Office Manager in the middle-office team.
Finally, Mathilde Boyer who joined the Smallcap “PME” team in 2021 has been promoted to Associate.
Clémence Megarbane joined Initiative & Finance Midcap “Tomorrow” team in April 2024 as Principal.
Clémence benefits from c.10 years of experience in the private equity industry. She started her carrier in 2015 at Butler Industries in the restructuring teams before joining CAPZA in 2017 in the Flex Equity team where she held the position of Principal. Clémence has been involved in numerous buyout transactions in a variety of sectors including among others education, technology, healthcare and industry.
She holds a MSc from ESSEC business school.
Marine Ferchaud joined Initiative & Finance Midcap “Tomorrow” team in April 2024 as ESG Analyst.
Previously, Marine spent 3 years as an ESG Analyst at SWEN Capital Partners working with the direct and impact strategy. She was involved in supporting portfolio companies, particularly in the integration of ESG indicators. She also contributed to the deployment of the management company’s Nature Policy.
She was formerly ESG Analyst at BNP Paribas Cardif for 18 months.
Marine holds a Master’s degree in International Environmental Management from Mines Paris – PSL.
She also graduated from Institut Léonard de Vinci and l’INSEEC.
Clothilde de Maupeou joined Initiative & Finance in November 2023 as Office Manager. Working alongside the General Secretary, she is responsible for the administrative, accounting and HR aspects of the management company.
Prior to joining Initiative & Finance, Clothilde worked primarily with the Director of the IPC, a Parisian university on a human scale, in the management and organization of this institution. She also worked at Amaclio Productions, a company producing immersive shows, supporting the management in the organization and management of support services.

Mathilde Boyer joined Initiative & Finance Smallcap “PME” team in mid-2021 as an analyst after her end-of-study internship. She began her professional career in M&A at CM-CIC Transaction PME and then discovered more about Private Equity thanks for an internship at BNP Paribas CIB in the Financial Sponsors Coverage team.
Since her arrival, she has been involved in several transactions, including the primary MBO of JM Polymers, a major player in the plastics sector, as well as the MBO of Briconord, a specialist in finishing and home improvement products.
Mathilde graduated from EDHEC Business School with a double degree in Management / MSc Corporate Finance and Banking.
