Environmental matters are fundamental to the transformation companies are undergoing all over the world, yet making them a part of business reality presents complex problems of organisation, measurement and communications. As such, they are a key area where private equity can provide support.

In this edition of Our Points of View, Caroline Pihan, Partner at Initiative & Finance, discusses the role of private equity and talks about the Tomorrow Fund, an “article 9” fund whose objective is to help mid-tier businesses adapt in order to deal with these issues.

We also hear from Pierre Magro, CEO at Babymoov, which has begun a far-reaching shift towards responsible and sustainable business with support from I&F.

Lastly, Pauline Wetter, investment director private equity  at LGT Capital Partners, gives us her view of ESG issues, based on the firm’s twenty-plus years of experience in this area.
